Hijinx Hotel Surfers Paradise

We had such a fun family day out! Every single staff member greeted us and were so lovely! The rooms were heaps of fun and the staff really make it enjoyable for everyone.. My 8 and 11 year old kids had a ball as did my husband and myself. Everything explained so well and easy to work out. If it's not the fun that has you return.. it will be the awesome staff..We will definitely be back to play again.. and check out the arcade! Thank you Hijinx team!

So much fun! I recently visited Hijinx Hotel in Melbourne and thought that this would be a perfect date night while visiting Surfers Paradise. The rooms at the Surfers location are the exact same as the ones in Melbourne, however I still had just as much fun trying to beat the high scores. To top it off, super friendly staff who made the experience a great night!

Delightful staff!! 🥰 I only popped by for a quick visit between bars this time, but was pleasantly surprised by the enthusiasm of the young cheerful staff throughout this place. Much like the TARDIS it is deceiving from the outside, and bigger on the inside. This place is a real hidden gem and I can barely wait for other people on the Gold coast to discover it, it is absolutely amazing!! 🥳 I will be back for dinner and drinks with friends as soon as possible. I can see this being one of the main attractions of the Gold coast. While the scheduled games look like a heap of fun, there is also plenty to do between bookings.

Loved this place so much there was so much to do! Almost spent our entire weekend in the goldcoast there aha The puzzle rooms were so much fun and so well made we had an amazing time! The bar and restaurant was so good the food was incredible and the drinks were amazing! We ended up having to move tables as they were closing a section for a party reservation and they gave us free onion rings for the trouble! There's bowling, mini golf, and a really cool arcade! The workers there were so lovely and kind, accommodating and friendly! Go there if you get the chance

I LOVED HI JINX surfers paradise! 😍 This is so different to anything I’ve ever done. I did the half an hour (5 challenge room) for $25 and it was more physically challenging than I had anticipated😂 (good thing though) All the rooms are super different and you just have to go see for yourself! I would strongly recommend going with 2/3 other people. They also have amazing cocktails. MUST TRY.

Guidance was minimal. My entire group was sent off to a room and taken to each consecutive room by an employee only to be stopped after our second round on the second last room of our experience and told by a different employee we weren’t allowed to be in a group together, second last room of our entire experience. The staff were nice but didn’t make our experience any better, the hotel was running late so the staff just rushed everyone through. The staff seemed young and were acting out a job description rather than setting a feel for the day. It was fun but not for what we paid, had I of experienced this before the birthday activities - I would have chosen elsewhere, I walked away devastated that our entire party travelled 2.5 hours one way, paid just over $600 for 1hour (we paid for 2 sets but told to leave for a half hour break between sets and all together 30mins of waiting) of games that we clearly did incorrectly due to no guidance to celebrate my daughters birthday. We can say we’ve been but we won’t be back.
